Chaucer
Two commissions from Chaucer PLC insurance company in central London, two artworks, one with red tones and one more subtle, for the two dining rooms used by colleagues and clients.
Each piece is made up of 36 slabs, each 23cm x 25cm, with organic and abstract 'icons' trapped between the two layers of glass. The slabs are suspended on steel wire, from the ceiling, and hang away from the wall, creating a dramatic presence, and shadows. Overall size of each artwork, 270cm x 140cm (height from ceiling included) x 13cm (distance from wall included).
