Cadbury’s Commission
10, 1 metre high slabs of 4mm iridescent glass, slumped, deeply, to depict the molten chocolate leaving the machine, filling the Cadbury’s Dairy Milk moulds.
The iridescence, when caught in the afternoon light, shimmers ‘Cadbury purple’ and in other lights, is an incredible rainbow of metallic colours, reminiscent of Cadbury’s Roses chocolate wrappers.
These 30cm wide slabs are hung next to each other on the wall, three metres with an aluminium strip running along the top as id part of the chocolate dispensing machinery.
This piece is hung in the three storey high rear atrium of Cadbury’s brand new purpose built Bournville Place.
